Review - Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Class - Lockdown

[TAO's Note: I'm always excited to post a Transformers review, especially ones like this, which feature a cool toy that's a cross-line tribute. Clark is here to tell you how Lockdown (of the Revenge of the Fallen variety, not the Animated variety) turned out!]

Review - Ninja Gaiden II - Ryu Hayabusa

[TAO's Note: It's time for some ninja love, and Clark is here to deliver it. He's taking a look at Ryu Hayabusa, from the famed Ninja Gaiden video game series, which is known as one of the toughest ever. Unfortunately, the toy might not be so tough. Keep reading to see what that means!]

Review - Spider-Man 3.75 Inch - Spider-Man (Night Mission)

[TAO's Note: Clark has already reviewed one black costumed Spider-Man, but he's back to take a look at this alternative version from Hasbro, coming out of the Spider-Man line instead of the similarly scaled Marvel Universe. Did this one turn out any better than its predecessor? Keep reading to find out!]

Review - Transformers Hybrid Style - Optimus Prime (THS-02 Convoy)

[TAO's Note: Clark's back for another look at a Transformers figure, and this time it's a tiny one. Who knew toys could even be made this small and still be so cool?]

Review - Revoltech - Evangelion Unit 02

We usually let Updatedude handle any Japanese toys here at Articulated Discussion, but this particular figure is one that I am very fond of. This figure is the reason that I purchased and watched the entire Neon Genesis series, which I thought was okay, the ending really depressed the crap out of me. I was introduced to Revoltech in 2006 while searching random toys online. I was instantly intrigued, and when I found this guy at a local comicbook shop I had to pick him up.

Review - Transformers Universe - Silverbolt

[TAO's Note: Don't you wish sometimes that you could just transform and make all your phyiscal faults disappear? Take your big gut or unibrow or 13th toe (I'm not an attractive guy) and zap, they're all gone! Transformers are blessed with that very ability, but some just don't take advantage of it. As Clark is about to tell you, Silverbolt lets all his faults hang out!]

Review - Star Wars Legacy Collection - General Grievous

General Grievous is probably my favorite character to come out of the prequel stories, and at the same time he is the most disappointing.

The Articulated Accolades - Day 1

[TAO's Note: If you've been wondering what Clark's favorite toy of the year is, then your curiosity is finally going to be quenched. Keep reading as he awards the Articulated Accolade to a Star Wars figure! The first of five winners and a few honorable mentions are inside. Enjoy!]

Review - GI Joe Sigma 6 Adventure Team - Recondo

[TAO's Note: Clark is back with another GI Joe Sigma 6 review, this time under the sub-line called Adventure Team. I think he likes this Recondo figure quite a bit, but he might just be full of croc; you're going to have to decide for yourself after reading this great review.]

Review - DC Superheroes - Brainiac

[TAO's Note: Clark's making sure we don't fall behind when it comes to Super Powers tribute figures, as he's already covered the DC Universe Classics Red Parademon, and now he's turning his attention to Brainiac from Mattel's earlier DC Superheroes line..]

Plastic Ponderings - To Play or Not to Play

Before I start, let me tell you that I am a fully functioning, adult member of society.  I have had a successful career (although now I’m back in school to get a graduate degree because my interests did not mesh with my career as a salesman) and have a nice home life with my wife, dog and cat. I have always been interested in action figures, but it was not until summer of 2005 that I started buying them, and by summer of 2006 I was collecting.

Review - DC Universe Classics Wave 8 - Parademon (Super Powers)

[TAO's Note: For those of you who read Articulated Discussion faithfully, you might remember me mocking this figure and my decision not to review him (for those of you who don't, look here). This red hunk of 80s toy nostalgia is back for revenge and I'm turning the responsibility of reviewing him over to Clark, who will let you know how wonderful this toy really is. Maybe he'll manage to impress Big Barda afterall.]

Review - DC Superheroes - Steel

[TAO's Note: Clark is already back with another review of a metal-head. Steel from Mattel's DC Superheroes line is the subject today, and as Clark points out, if you like DC Universe Classics, you might want to hunt down this older figure that still packs quite a punch despite the few years it has on its younger DCUC brethren.]

Review - Star Wars The Clone Wars - 4A-7

[TAO's Note: It's not often we review Star Wars toys here at Articulated Discussion, so I'm glad Clark has decided to feature another. This time it's the droid 4A-7 from the Clone Wars line, and Clark is going to tell us whether or not he's worth his weight in gold.]

Review - Legendary Comic Book Heroes Series 2 - Judge Death

[TAO's Note: At first glance, Judge Death may not seem like much of a Halloween character, but after careful consideration, I think you'll agree that anyone featuring "death" in their name probably fits right in. Taking a look at thie fellow's ugly mug only confirms that he belongs right alongside the other ghouls and goblins leading up to Halloween, so sit back and enjoy Clark's review of the Legendary Comic Book Heroes Judge Death figure from Marvel Toys.]
