There are many cool statues and figures coming from DC Direct, though unfavorable lightning and stuffed memory-cards prevented me from taking a satisfactory photographic inventory of them. It's poor form to blame your equipment, but hey, I'm a rotten dude! Just look at that weirdo name of mine, I can never be up to any good.
Figures of The Return of Bruce Wayne are being made, which is cool because it feels like the return of the old "Legends of the Dark Knight" line with alternate versions of Bats (Pirate Bats is my fav so far). I love the hair on Supergirl, lol.
I think Blackest Night figures are THE BEST DC FIGURES EVER, and I don't even care too much about the story-line they spawned from. Most of them have excellent detailed sculpts that makes them look alive (hyuk, hyuk!). The Black Lanterns are creepy in the dark, which is great for dramatic photography, but sucks for taking clear pictures show all that impressive detail, haha. Star Sapphire has sparkly clear-pink areas, which is, uh, great? (By the way, the Golden Pharoah figure from DCUC also has clear purple parts) Nekron looks like a McFarlane toy, and Hawkgirl, Mera and Hawkman are still sexy as hell.
Ask Wes if these exclusive Lanterns are cool or not, I don't like their sculpt.
Not terribly interested in the Arkham Asylum game, but the figs have sculpts as awesome as the Blackest Night figs.
SQUUEEEEEEE! Stephanie Brown Batgirl! I love this costume, but I can't help but think the pose is boring. Also, the figure is lopsided because one foot is off the base.
More sexy purple chicks! Love that shading. No clue who this character is but the Whole Mass Effect 2 (video game) line was fantastic (and still poseable!).
