I had pretty much written off ever finding a Green Arrow (my favorite hero) after reading about the Wave 9 shortage. Lo and behold, a few scant weeks ago, after smacking my forehead in frustration over the pegwarmer-choked G.I. Joe pegs, that I happened upon a few DCUC figs. And there, in all his emerald glory, was Ollie, grinning out at me from a pile of Captain Colds. I think I nearly dislocated my shoulder snagging him off the shelf. Once home, before I had my shoes off, GA was opened and displayed right alongside his Marvel Legends rival Hawkeye.

Like everyone, I've had problems finding recent wave figures. But, that hasn't stopped my overall DCUC experience from being very positive. How could I ever be mad at Mattel? The DCUC line got me back into comics and my LCS for the first time in almost fifteen years. I was oblivious to the line until I heard that someone, clearly out of their minds, was making a Vigilante figure. And it was Marv Wolfman's, not that shitkicker on the motorcycle.Searching for him brought me into my LCS. Got my Vigilante and caught up on many titles (Guy Gardner had muscles? Hal Jordan was a bad guy, died, was the Spectre, then came back to life? And who is this schmuck in the, “Fair Play,” jacket?).But it was once I saw the back of the card, and all the other great and obscurish figures, I was sold. And I always will be, distribution problems or not.My best single score was at Toys R Us, where I found two team members of my new favorite comic, the JSA. Commander Steel and that schmuck in the, “Fair Play,” jacket. Best wishes to Mattel, even if my Rex Mason falls apart if I breath on it.

My first exposure to DCUC on an actual peg was looking at the Batman Beyond figure - an articulated 6 inch version of him was something I've been wishing for for 10 years!! I was just dumbfounded - it was the figure that caused me to back track on all past DCSH & DCUC waves.....And so my total immersion / obsession on anything DCUC has dominated my online traffic for the past 18 months or so........ After getting a disappointing but sincere email from Big Bad Toy Store regarding the Wave 09 shortage, I pretty much gave up the thought of owning a black WILDCAT figure......At that time, around early September, even Midtown Comics nearby my office sold this figure out in a day or so - the appetite for this line is just voracious!! Cut to early October and BBTS sends an email that my pre-ordered Wildcat somehow shipped - I was surprised, but expected they shipped the Blue / purple variant version, which I already had anyways. Figure my surprise when I opened the delivered box with the black Wildcat I've been searching for! I know it didn't really take a lot of effort on my part - a lot of it depended on FATE, which is of course always involved in the hunt for any hot figures. Just sharing a small bright note, and I sincerely hope many of you get the sae result from BBTS at least.... Good show from them, BTW!

Mine greatest success is actually from DCSH, but the same distribution problems carried over from that line. I was not even sure if they had ever released Cyborg Superman, and I was trying to get as many Superman themed characters as I could. A hint online said to check out Big Lots, so I hit up the three stores I knew of in my area to no avail. Then one afternoon I was taking a side street home from work because the highway was clogged up, and ran across a Big Lots I did not know was there. I walked inside, and what to I see sitting right out in front of a whole assortment of DCSH figures, but a lone Cyborg Superman.I know you can get him now in a two pack, but I am still excited to know that I actually found one of the rarest DCSH figures.

I used to cry over the fact that I would never get a DCSH Cyborg Superman and then they re-release him in a 2-pack!Thank you Mattel!

I hate to say it,but lack of availability over in the US is usually created by shipping everything to Asia. Here in Singapore, we have TONS of DCSH Bizarro, Mongul, and a smattering of Ka-El and Black skirt Supergirl going for super cheap at every major department store sale.So that's where I began my Superman rogues gallery, with a US$7 Bizarro and Mongul. And they're even cheaper now, something like 4 bucks each. And when I got these guys, I rushed back to a diffrent store to pick up their last available black S Superman, only to find it was gone. I was so bummed. Then I returned a week later and lo, there it was! That was the beginning of a beautiful DCSH/DCUC love affair. If you'd like the full story, head on over to my we page and click on Superman! ;P

Sadly, most of my DCUC finds have been online since most of the local retailers are overstuffed with Cyborgs. But, just when I was convinced that I would be SoL for the Chemo wave, I found Black Adam, black Wildcat, and the Guardian. Of course, I probably won't be able to find the other figures to build Chemo (I really like the collect-to-connect concept), but its something, I suppose. I do have to say that it is frustrating to have the DCUC figures be so hard to find when the pegs are overflowing with Marvel Universe. Mattel really needs to take a cue from Hasbro.

My history with DCUC began with Wave 3. A friend of mine--a long-time DC reader--wanted to collect the Legion of Doom and needed Solomon Grundy. He didn't want to be stuck with figures he didn't need, so he offered to sell me Deathstroke."Come on, you like figures with good articulation and that can holster their weapons on their body, right?" he asked. "Give Deathstroke a chance. Plus, he's a bad-ass in the comics."He was right--I loved Deathstroke. For me, it's a sign of a good figure when it makes me want to know more about the character. My friend then lent me Identity Crisis, and I was hooked. Not only did I see what Deathstroke was capable of, but I wanted to read more DC comics. One thing led to another and I quickly burned through his collection, finding new favorite characters in each book. From Countdown to Infinite Crisis to 52, Shadowpact to the Secret Six, I knew I wouldn't be done with DC anytime soon.DCUC was also the first time I ever ordered a full case of figures. When Giganta was announced for Wave 8, I knew I had to have her (plus, Vigilante's weapons would make a fine addition to Deathstroke's arsenal).I used to be a hardcore Marvel fan and wouldn't give DC a second thought. Now, thanks to Deathstroke, I have a new appreciation for the other half of the Big Two in comic books.

My history with DCUC began with, well, Wave 10.To be honest, I had been perusing the figures via eBay for over a year, particularly after seeing a Riddler produced in Wave 5. However, I had been unemployed for most of that time, so I couldn't afford to indulge and begin my collection. With money now coming in, I decided it was finally time. I had read all about the problems with Wave 5, and all about expected problems with Wave 10. I thought I had already missed the release of Wave 10 by some time, but was pleasantly surprised to find they had just been released within the past few weeks. So, just last Friday, I traveled to my local Walmart. I found the three empty racks where the DCUC were intended to go, though to be fair they did have a couple of older figures sitting on the shelf beneath (a Big Barda and black-suit Superman, I believe). I decided to track down an employee and take a shot. She followed me to the location, pulled out her little electronic gun, scanned the label, and said, "I just ordered 20. They should be in in a few days."Monday arrives and I put in a call, "Sorry, nothing yet. They should be in early next week or possibly Wednesday at the earliest." Okay, so I wait. Wednesday comes and I put in another call, "Yeah, they're here."......what?"They were put up on the racks last night."Now, perhaps I'm a bit cynical, but even with this good news, I still wasn't sure what to expect. I had mentioned to all the employees I had talked to that this was a new, Walmart exclusive line...but it's still Walmart after all. So I headed off to the store with cautious optimism.I made a bee-line for the toy aisle and there they were; three racks full of DCUC Wave 10. Man-Bat, Power Girl, Beast Boy, Joker...they were all there, and all at just $13. It's a good thing I had a cart with me, as I probably would have fainted without something to hold onto. I loaded the cart and off I went. Now I'm torn with the best dilemma to have, whether or not to open them for display or keep them packaged. It often pays to live in Southern Maine, the land collectors forgot. Makes me think I should start keeping an eye out for the other Waves at local toy stores, and definitely get prepared for the next Walmart exclusive one. Just a shame I wasn't able to try this in order to get me some Riddler. C'est la vie...

Dear ToyHouse Letters Heard the news about Mattel's distribution problems for Wave 9 and despair about ever getting GA and BC. Had put in an order with a brick and mortar toy store, but started to feel anxious anyway. Then one afternoon, just after picking up my comics from my standing order with my LCS, I popped into the department store next door. Looked at the usual GI Joes and Transformers clogging the shelves and was about to walk off when I accidentally bumped into an elderly store assistant who was loading up some shelves. I ducked round to avoid her and there they were, the complete DCUC Wave 9 sitting amidst piles of other toys that they were sorting through. My Etrigan horns began to sprout as I noticed that they had been price tagged, but were not on the shelves yet. Maybe somebody had reserved them? I looked through the pile and pulled out GA and BC, hoping to pay for it and be off before anyone could say anything. "You can take them all, you know", elderly sales assistant said over my shoulder, smiling. Nearly jumped out of my skin. She was gesturing at the whole pile. "T-Thank you!" I replied. So I did!

I've got a success story from last night. While searching for Wave 10 at Walmart, I finally found Big Barda. All I needed to complete the Atom Smasher wave was Big Barda and Kid Flash. I know a Walmart that still has Kid Flash, and I'm going to pick him up this morning. So I will finally be able to complete Atom Smasher, a good six months after picking up the first figures in the wave. A long road to success, but success nonetheless.

I only needed Aquaman and Harley to complete Grodd and after seeing nothing but expensive, marked up prices online I almost gave up looking for the only two figures I needed. Later on, I was at a K-Mart that I don't normally go into, because it's run down and dingy, and as soon as I stepped onto the toy aisle I saw Aquaman on the floor and Harley on a peg behind some WWE figures and I snatched them up as quick as I could. Thank goodness for K-Marts that nobody goes into.

Great idea for a column! I don't have any great stories to share. I've just keep hitting the stores and been lucky enough to find almost all of them that way. I've ebayed a couple here and there, but it's well worth it when you see them all together.

Funnily enough, my success story had to do with Wave 5's Riddler. It was a Friday, and I had the day off, so I out checking my local stores. I was almost finished with my route, and I was considering ending it early so I could avoid rush hour traffic, but I decided to press on anyway and check that last Walmart. When I checked the toy aisle, I saw a lone figure on the DCUC pegs, and it was The Riddler. I happily snatched him up and started looking him over. Unfortunately, this one had messed up paint on his face and the brim of his hat was warped, but I just couldn't pass him up. Thankfully though, they'll be easy enough to fix, since the paint issue is just some chipped/flaking off paint on his chin. I just need to get around to getting a paintbrush and some skintone paint.

Most of my figures I have bought online or they have been gifts, but I generally prefer to find my figures in stores, both for the thrill of the hunt, and the lack of shipping costs. One of my big successes was finding wave 4 Ares at a Target on clearance for 9 bucks. I had been on the fence until I saw the deatail on him in person, which was amazing. But my biggest success has to be Harley Quinn. Wave 2 had never come to my nearest Target. I already had Aquaman from a gift, and Black Manta I managed to get on ebay for something close to retail plus shipping. I had looked for wave 2 almost every day and then one day I saw a wave 3 Hal Jordon was the lone figure on the pegs. I bought him immediately (another success) but that pretty much meant that I had missed wave 2 or that it had never come. But I was looking in this same Target for wave 6 or 7, and low and behold there was a ton of Wave 2, complete with a Harley Quinn. I bought her on the spot.

It was December 2007, I had a pretty rough year and thought that Christmas was going to continue my lousy year - when lo' and behold! DCUC wave 1 came out and available at my local toy store! I pretty much bought the entire set and was happy building Metamorpho! Honestly DCUC1 really brighten up my year despite being one of the lousiest year of my life! After that it became increasingly difficult to find DCUC but then I found out that ordering the entire set on-line is a whole lot cheaper now than buying them in retail because my local toy store now sells them for $28/figure!!!So now thanks to BBTS and CSC, I'm getting my figures without all the frustrating search through toy aisles and having to contend with scalpers! All I have to do is wait for them online and after a week (I'm from the Philippines) I'll be getting the non-exclusive DCUC figures delivered in my office safe and sound!

This may not sound much like a success story, but in a way it is! Much of my DCUC/DCSH collection comes from EBay (boo!) and one local specialty toy store plus my regular comic book store; in fact, I only ever bought 3 figures from retail store (in this case, TRU) pegs. So what's the success part? Bless those guys, but the specialty toy store and the comic store never charged me much more than regular retail did - in fact, in most cases they were slightly cheaper. So there!

I'm super glad to see so many responses here. This line has brought a lot of joy to collectors, but I don't know if it has been enough to outweigh all the trouble. I had a positive experience with a Wal-Mart employee today, ordered 20 figures for me, hopefully more DCUC 10.

That stinks, I don't have any success stories. I collect vicariously through whatever TAO has left over to send me, lol.One time I found like 4 Blue Supergirls at Ross for $5 each, I put one on ebay and it sold for like $20 for some reason, I traded the others away for some figures I wanted more than that ugly Supergirl lol

All of my DCUC purchases have been made online. Buying full assortments just makes more sense to me and saves gas money. Of course by doing this you sometimes have to relent to fate as to which version of a variant packed figure you will receive. Such was true with Captain Atom. I wanted classic silver not horrid gold. At about this same time Kaybee was coming to the end. Once long ago in the history of collecting and many others I'm sure this was the place to get your affordable plastic hero fix. Years had passed though and I rarely ever went in my local store anymore. Times changed and so did they. Really wanting a classic silver Capt. though I chanced it and of course there he was. On sale. The final sale this chain would ever have. It was like a goodbye gift from a long trusted friend. Rather fitting I thought...

A long long time ago in a toy aisle far far away... I somehow managed to completely ignore DCSH, and may very well likely could have ignored DCUC, except Mr. Poe Ghostal had to start up his blog and review Wave 1 (and most all subsequent waves). I've always been a Batman fan, whether it was the '89 Burton film or the West tv Series, and of course my favorite, The Animated Series. I picked up Zipline Batman years ago when I was into collecting the 2002 MOTU line, but never really touched another superhero figure until I picked up Batman and The Penguin. I still remember the date... January 30th, 2008. After picking those two up, I really liked the others from Wave 1, and that I guess you could way was when I was hit with the collector's bug for DCUC. For the most part I've been extremely fortunate. Although Wave 5 never showed up at any WM's in my state (Massachusetts), most WM's didn't even start carring DCU here until earlier this year I believe. I was able to find 2, 6, and 7 in store with no trouble, and went as far as ordering 3 & 4 from CSC. I didn't really run into trouble until Wave 8, which I still don't have anyone from, and Wave 9, which I presume everyone is having trouble with. OH, and then there's Wave 10. HA HA HA HA HEE HEE HEE HO HO HO!!!! I've never been a huge comic book reader, I've mostly been a tv show and movies guy, that was my main exposure to the likes of Batman, Superman, etc. I'll be honest in that before collecting DCUC I had no idea who 70% of these characters were, from Orion, Etrigan, Barda, Fate, Impossible, etc. So I've been given sort of a crash course in DC Universe. It hasn't really given me any more love for a lot of the characters, but at least when watching Justice League or Brave and the Bold I knew who a lot of the characters were. All in all its been a fun, albeit expensive and at times frusterating ride. I'm concentrating more of my disposable income on MOTUC right now, but I'm still cherry picking from DCUC.

once, completely on a whim, i decided i really wanted a DCUC wave 3 robin. i got my dad to drive me to a target, and found all of wave 3 there. this was the first time i'd scene a whole wave at one time, so i bought as many as i could afford. that was an epic day.

My interest in DCUC took a hit when I wasn't able to find most of Wave 2, but my luck at finding Black Manta kept my dream of completing the Legion of Doom alive. As such, I was particularly looking forward to Wave 3 -- which not only was the only wave from which I've wanted most of the characters, but also featured both Sinestro and Grundy as a BAF. And then I couldn't find them. Anywhere. Sigh.I'd all but given up and resigned myself to grabbing DC Direct versions of those characters (earlier the same day I snagged the Justice Toyman; greatest DCD figure ever) when I walked into a dying KB Toys and saw it: DCUC Wave 3. Multiple sets of Wave 3. Heck, there were even some Wave 4 figures! I giddily picked through the pegs looking to complete my Grundy, though I did make one omission -- I wanted the Sinestro Corps Sinestro rather than the regular one, and that KB didn't have that one in stock. Luckily, my Grundy did not stay one-legged for long, as SAG of the much-missed superarticulated.com knew of my desire for a yellow Sinestro and picked one up for me. Joy! Grundy was the first and only DCUC BAF I've been able to complete... and only one of two BAFs that I've ever been able to fully assemble. And since DCUC Wave 1, which was admittedly fairly widespread, KB Toys is the only store in which I've seen the line in abundance.RIP, KB Toys -- you will be missed.

I once walked into my local Wal-Mart and saw multiples of every wave 5 figure on the shelves. At the time, I only had a few DCUC figures and was not really informed on how hard they were to find. I knew they were Wal-mart exclusive so I thought, "Hmmm...I'll think about it, it's an exclusive wave, so it'll be on the pegs nonstop for months I'm sure." Biggest success and regret all wrapped into one That same store has since been my go-to store for exclusive waves, but just last week or the week before they finally re-stocked the pegs after not having stocked them in months....with wave 7. Alas, no wave 10. Oh well, I'm glad that some fans are finding what they're looking for. I do realize there are a lot of scalpers out there, but it's a nice change of pace to read about everyone who's actually found the characters they love. Congratulations everybody, good idea for a topic TAO!

Hey, guys. I'm not going to lie to you anymore, because it will be sort of hard to when I tell you this story. I am not really an adult collector, I am a twelve year old collector and have a quite extensive collection. So anyway, on with the success story. Mine will be in the future, because my birthday is in late December, and my favorite hero, Green Lantern's wave comes out then. So, I asked my mom to get me the entire wave for me on a good deal i found on a website, some 10% off. Well, i guess that one's not too exciting, so I'll go with this one, the one that got me into classics. I was camping with my family and we were at a Wal-Mart. I went into the toy aisle to mozy around as usual, while my parents looked for light bulbs, this, that, and whatever else. I was looking in the superhero section, and I find a blue batman figure. I grabbed it off the shelf, hoping to mooch a few bucks off my mom to get it for me. Behind it, though, was Etrigan the Demon. I looked at it, and it was truly beautiful. Through my superior begging skills, I managed to get both of them from my parents. And that, my friends, is my success story.

@theagentorange, you'll find no prejudice against younger collectors from me. I too am probably a bit younger than most of the people here (though not quite as young as yourself).I fondly remember convincing my mom to buy numerous things above my $5 a week allowance. Of course, that wouldn't go very far nowadays anyway. And, that's always better than when you have to convince yourself to spend more than your own allowance, or you won't eat... Then again, I bet a lot of people would buy a Joker over two value meals at McDonald's.
Friday, November 06, 2009 12:19 PM
At least you jerks had an allowance! Nah, if it weren't for being the third and youngest kid, I wouldn't have gotten all the cool hand-me-down toys from the mid-80's that my brother had. New success story for me, last night. Someone finally cleared out the last Firestorm from a Wal-mart on my route home. I've been checking it for days to see what the next wave would be, if they had one (I had concerns that they might stop carrying the line at this point). My girlfriend, who is a lot less embarassed to talk to employees about toys than I am, found out the other day that they're now tagging out of stock items with a little marker to show when it was ordered, when it's due back, etc. Great idea for collectors, if scalpers are bad in your area, not so much. Anyway, I rolled up into Wal-mart 2 days after the product was ordered and at 12:05 am I found Power Girl, Beast Boy, Batman, Robotman, and Forager. The wave I thought I would never see at retail is now mostly in my possession. The crazy part is that I walked over to where the stock was and I could see the box that had been opened for the wave. Figuring this walmart usually starts replenishing its stock at about 1130, that means they all but sold out of the wave 10 figures in about a half hour, as someone else had already beat me to the Man-bat and Joker figures. HAVE FAITH GUYS, I never expected to see these, but I've never been so happy to be wrong in my life. I left one Power Girl, a couple Batmans and a few others. They're going for a lot of cash, but I really hope another collector gets to them for his own collection first, I don't want to be part of the problem finding these guys. KEEP AN EYE OUT, HIT YOU WALMARTS AND HIT THEM HARD AND TAKE YOUR GIRLFRIENDS THEY GET STUFF DONE GOOD LUCK!

Thanks TAO, I have a brand new success story!!!! My mom is at Wal*Mart right now and I asked her to please go check quickly in the toy aisle to see if there were any DC Classics. I figured there wouldn't be, since we had just been there last night, but she was close so she did anyway. To my surprise, she found both a Power Girl and 2 Batmen. She bought the batmen, (i already have power girl) because I convinced her I would pay her back for one of them and share the profits of the one that I would sell on eBay. Thanks guys, keep hunting!

I had been looking for Wave 10 in Wal-Mart for the past few weeks, and had just about given up hope of ever finding any figures from the line, as with the last wave released in Wal-Mart. Today, I went to the Wal-Mart a little further away from my house than the one I usually go to. I had been visiting that one recently because I never even found one DC figure at the other Wal-Mart. I was in the aisle and did not see the two DC figures from Wave 8 I had seen the previous week, and I was just about to leave when I spotted a Joker and Batman on the pegs. I saw not just one, but two of them, a Beast Boy, and Forager as well. Because of money issues, I bought the three I wanted most: Batman, Joker, and Forager. But I hope to go back soon and see if I can complete the set. It was a nice surprise.

My first was Killer Moth, I found him on a comic shop and bought him for my Batman display. Until then DCUC seemed too over-articulated and somewhat fragile. Now I have characters from every wave (not all of them) and even own some BAFs (sorry,,, C&Cs) too. And until Kilowog arrives, my favorite will remain Solom Grundy.

Great post! I?m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case

Today, I found a cache of DCUC 10. Woohoo!
Friday, November 13, 2009 1:31 AM
Okay, I have a new one just today. I went to Walmart to get some dog biscuits, and of course can't help but check the toy aisle. I was looking for a City Strike Snake Eyes, and completely passed the DCUC Wave 10 without noticing. On my way out is when I saw the green mallet of Joker from the side. They had the full set, with doubles of Joker, Batman, and Power Girl.Although Power Girl was beautiful, I have no true connection to the figure, but I picked up a Joker and Man-Bat!

I live in northern Illinois, in a hub of several towns (Rockford, DeKalb, Dixon, Batavia) overstuffed with Wal-Marts and Targets galore. It's great, especially since most of the Targets religiously stock DCUC. I had no trouble with waves 1-4 or 6 and 7...only had to order Harley on EBay, and even then it was only, like 25 bucks. I even managed to find an Aquaman figure at Shop Ko of all places. I'd strayed away from comics for awhile, but I was always a huge Batman fan. When I saw the Batman and Penguin figures in wave 1, I got hooked on the series...and I've since started reading a TON of DC titles. Wave 5 was a problem for me. I don't really care for Amazo or Black Lightning, and I've never been a huge Superman fan, so I didn't really care about Metallo either. But, especially as a Batfan, I had to have that damn Riddler! Most of my Wal-Marts weren't even stocking DCUC yet, and I figured the only way I'd be able to get a Riddler was on Ebay...for seventy bucks. Last winter I had to go to the suburbs with my brother, and I convinced him to stop at a Wal-Mart along the way. We checked the toy aisle (He collects Joes) and they had a ton of DCUC Series 1 in stock. I dug through the figures, thinking maybe I'd find a series 4 Wonder Woman...and there was a Riddler shoved to the back of the pegs! I think I knocked every figure off the pegs pulling him out. Like a lot of people, I've also been having trouble finding Wave 8 and 9 (Haven't even started on wave 10 yet). Back in the 90's my parents picked me up a Mantis figure from Super Powers at a garage sale, and he was one of my favorite action figures. I didn't even know what he was and just called him BugBot. When I was flipping through ToyFare I saw a picture of the DCUC figure and couldn't believe it. A super articulated, gloriously sculpted Mantis / BugBot? NO WAY! And then I was at Toys R Us and saw that goofy looking comic-based Mantis figure. I checked online and realized my "BugBot" was actually a variant. I was so pissed! A couple days ago, I was at the local Target, shopping. Since they've been overstocked on the Public Enemies line for awhile, I haven't been checking them regularly. I just glanced down the action figure aisle as I walked past and there, on the front of the DCU pegs WAS "BUGBOT"!!!!!! I think I scared the hell out of a couple kids in my mad dash to tear the figure off the pegs. I had to finish shopping, and whenever I walked away from my cart, I took Mantis with me (I had an experience where someone at Wal-Mart knicked a Batman Beyond out of my cart). And yeah, when I got out to my car, I couldn't wait. I ripped the figure open in the parking lot and spent a couple minutes admiring the detail. And I even brought it into work in my jacket pocket. I don't think the figure left my side until I put him on my DCUC shelf. I love the DCUC line, and "BugBot" is by far my favorite in the WHOLE line now. I'm so glad I found this one! Screw the Parademon, screw Black Canary, I GOT MY MANTIS / "BUGBOT"!!!

I'd been wanting a Batman in black for a while, but not specific to any particular movie. I was unaware of the wave 10 Batman exisitng, and while in my neighborhood Wal-Mart at 1 am in Dec, I happened to see a lone wave 10 Batman. Bought it and never saw another in that store or the 5 other Wal-Marts I've been in during following weeks. Lucky find for me.
