NECA's agreement with Capcom has made for some interesting and high quality toys recently, and thankfully their foray into Bionic Commando is no different. Nathan "Rad" Spencer is another great toy, and although I don't know the character, I'll be remembering this figure for quite a while. Read on to see why!

10 / 10 - Unbelievably life-like in appearance; packed with so many intricate details all over the figure; metallic arm looks amazing and high-tech; mucles and proportions are buff but not excessive; face and hair are perfect; everything is appropriately textured; extractable claw could fit in arm socket better; gun looks great too! (This might be my favorite sculpt of the year so far. I wish I could detail it in a full review)
8 / 10 - Everything is given some paint so he looks consistent and un-plastic; colors are subtle and realistic, and look great!; well done wash and brush effects in clothes and on skin; each part of his metal arm looks appropriate; decals on arm and chest are clean; face details (including beard) all look perfect; there are color match issues in his pants across parts; also some slop here and there; ugliest armpit ever.
8 / 10 - Quite a few points, but there don't really seem to be a lot of posing options; limited ankle and knee swivels; elbow swivel can look quite ugly; articulated fingers on metallic arm are great; looks mostly good with sculpt; ball neck allows of touches of personality.
10 / 10 - Not a super-famous character; is based off a potentially enjoyable game; has a lot of articulation; entertaining in either play or display functions; retractable grappling arm is a total blast to mess around with; comes with a cool gun accessory; just looks neat.
9 / 10 - A reasonably well sized figure for the price; at roughly $15, he could stand to be a dollar or two cheaper; strong and durable feeling materials; includes an accessory; has high production values in both paint and sculpt.
Overall Score: 91 / 100 - This is a Wonderful Toy
Bionic Commando gets a lot of things right and few wrong, which makes him a wonderful action figure for kids and collectors alike.
