Toy Count - A Fantasy Come True

My local Toys R Us doesn't usually shuffle their pegs a lot from trip to trip (especially when you go every few days), but yesterday I noticed a few things that were interesting enough to warrant a brand new edition of:

Toys R Us Toy Count - October 22nd
  • 9 - Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts Figures (While having 9 figures for a whole line isn't exactly remarkable, it's the fact that these are Final Fantasy figures, in a local store, that's so amazing. Square makes some of the most amazing toys out there in their Play Arts line (of which, I own a few), and I'm so very super glad to see them at a local Toys R Us. The problem, the nice ones cost $25, a hefty fee for anyone, especially when they don't feel like imports.)
  • 6 - DC Universe Classics Shazam! Figures (I'm glad to know that DC Universe Classics has a home in my Toys R Us again (for a long while, there were none to be found), but since there are 6 of the exact same figure resting on the shelf, I don't expect to see any new waves any time soon. The kicker? All 6 are from the "all star" cases. Great case packout planning Mattel!)
  • 5 - Gears of Wars 2 Series 5 (I guess this wave of the NECA's Gears of War 2 figures are hitting in force, and they look good as usual. I'm always pleasently surprised by the paint apps on all of these figures, especially when combined with the fantastic sculpts. Good stuff all around.)
  • 1 - Marvel Universe Figure That Wasn't The Thing or Some Sort of Iron Man Variant (I woiuld love to buy some of the newer Marvel Universe figures to review, but besides the Secret Wars two-packs, it seems like I can never find anything except 10 Thing singles, or Iron Man in one of 17 variant colors.)
  • 1 - Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Human Alliance, With Megan Fox) (I know you've been waiting for a Megan Fox action figure, there's no need to lie about it. Well, they're evidently here, as long you as don't mind her coming in at two inches and alongside a racially stereotypical transforming robot.)
It's all single digits here, but with some nifty numbers anyway.
