Another trip to Target has left me feeling a little disgruntled. Another pile of crap nobody wants filling up pegs for stuff that everybody wants. Read on to see today's:
Target Toy Count - December 20th
Kilowogs - 12 (+1 from last time, which is unbelievable)
Total other JLU figures - 2 (-1 from last time, which is reasonable)
Marvel Legends Blob Series X3 Jean Grays - 3 (I can't believe they're keeping these same 3 on the self for 6 months or more)
DC Universe Classics Pegs - 0 (They still haven't put DCUC pegs back up, with JLU 3 packs in their place)
GI Joe Singles - 0 (They appear to never restock them)
Dark Knight Sword Thingamajobs - 6 (I don't know who came up with these, but they're sitting on Movie Masters pegs in abundance)
Amazingly enough Target managed to squeeze one more Kilowog onto the shelf so he's rightfully earning his keep as the Toy Count. There were only 2 other JLU figures, but a few more Infinite Heroes than usual (this could be either good or bad depending on your outlook). Still no DCUC which has been overtaken by JLU 3 packs, and all three Marvel Legends pegs had one X3 Jean Grey sitting on them. Tons of Dark Knight, Hulk, and Iron Man movie stuff, but no Joes singles. Target's toy aisle is a mess and badly needs a post Christmas reset. Hopefully the Toy Count duties will then pass hands to another willing volunteer, like maybe Killer Moth? (Let's hope not, I love him!)
