Imagine my surprise to find a nice, fresh Hasbro box resting on my front porch when I finally returned from my recent trip today. The folks over at Hasbro were kind enough to mail a few figures my way, and ironically enough they arrived on my birthday. A big thanks goes out to Hasbro for the timely Birthday present; I couldn't be more pleased with what they sent. Check out AD's latest figures in another edition of:
While the GI Joe Hall of Heroes figures weren't something I originally planned on purchasing, after getting a first glance at the packaging, I'm starting to wonder if that was ever the right consideration. My first impressions is that these are all some nice figures loaded down with accessories and a classic style. Sure, they may rely a little too heavily on re-used parts, but they look like they'll appeal to classic Joe fans.
I'll be reviewing them all soon enough, so I'll see just how great they turned out. In the meantime, does anyone else have these yet and have an opinion to offer? I'd like to know if they're striking a chord with more die-hard Joe fans, as I'll be looking at them from a less strict perspective.
